Happy New Year to all you tiny campers enthusiasts! We are busy here setting our goals for Cool Tears for 2022 and a major one is to publish more content everywhere. We'll still be publishing the magazine 6x/year, but we will also have additional content on the website, FaceBook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube. While we have only published 3 of our own YouTube videos since restarting Cool Tears in 2020, we plan to publish at least 2 videos per month. I hope that you all had a spectacular 2021 camping season and that you're planning for an epic 2022 season as well. Keep in mind that no matter where your adventures are taking you this summer, that it's likely time to start making those state park reservations now! I just checked a few popular state parks in Michigan
(my home state) and many of the most popular state parks already have bookings that start the week before the 4th of July and through the holiday. Many states allow bookings 6 months in advance. In Michigan, that means that you can start booking tomorrow morning at 9AM EST for the holiday weekend. (Hint: You can book now if you are booking earlier than July 2nd as a start date.)
The January/February 2022 issue will be released the week of January 10th, so keep an eye on your inbox. We'll have a recipe from guest authors who you may have watched on YouTube, an article on how to care for your AGM battery, winter camping, unique teardrop build, and more!
