Founded in 2015 by Brian Seeley and his wife in Wilsonville, Oregon, Aero Teardrops quickly became a beloved name in the teardrop trailer community. Their mission was to craft lightweight, customizable campers that allowed adventurers to connect with nature without sacrificing comfort. • The Burnside: A minimalist "squaredrop" design catering to budget-conscious campers.(aeroteardrops.com)

Despite their popularity, Aero Teardrops faced insurmountable challenges. On July 18, 2024, the company announced its closure due to financial difficulties. They subsequently filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on August 26, 2024. The company cited a sharp decline in sales, increased material costs, and high interest rates as contributing factors to their closure.

The closure left several customers, including a Spokane County man who had paid nearly $19,000 for a custom trailer, without their expected products. The company expressed deep regret for the situation, stating, "We truly regret not being able to fulfill the orders we had when we closed our doors. Our deepest apologies go out to those who have been affected." (NonStop Local KHQ)

Aero Teardrops' story serves as a poignant reminder of the challenges small businesses face, even with passionate founders and loyal customers. Their legacy lives on in the handcrafted trailers that continue to journey across the country, embodying the spirit of adventure they so dearly championed.
